The Bachelor of Education (Hons.) in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) is designed to equip future educators with both a broad and specialised understanding of English language teaching. The programme aims to develop graduates who possess a diverse, yet in-depth, grounding in educational theory, linguistic principles, and pedagogical skills. A core focus is on preparing students to teach English effectively in a wide range of international, regional, and national contexts. This is achieved through comprehensive training in modern teaching methodologies, language acquisition theories, and classroom management, ensuring graduates are well-versed in the latest trends and research in the TESL field.
